GATE OPERATION FROM YOUR HOME:
Do you know how to let someone in when they call your house from the front gate? It’s easy… once you confirm who they are, hit the 9 button on your telephone. You will hear a confirmation tone letting you know it worked. If you need to extend the amount of talk time with them (perhaps to give directions) hit the pound (#) key. If you want to hang up on the person without allowing entry, hit the star (*) key. Make sure the phone you answer with can produce a long touch-tone sound when hold in the 9 key. Some phones only make a short tone, which the system may not always hear. Please pass this information on to anyone you may know that is new to the neighborhood or who is not familiar with how to open the gate from the telephone.
